Case study

A talking guide on a glamping website: zeleniturizem.si.

Zeleni Turizem is a family glamping in Haloze, Slovenia. Since July 2026, its website has had a guide that answers guests by voice or text and shows them around. The current guide there is Mila, a swallow.

What Mila does

What the guide shows guests.

  • Shows prices

Asked what a stay costs, Mila takes guests to the price on the page.

  • Opens photo galleries

Asked about a place to stay or the surroundings, she opens the photos.

  • Scrolls to the right section

Asked about what's on offer, she scrolls to the part of the site that answers.

  • Leads to booking

When a guest is ready, she shows them the way to book.

How it was set up

The same three steps every site gets.

  1. Step 1: Built from the site's own content

The guide learned from the pages zeleniturizem.si already had.

  2. Step 2: Answers checked before going live

The site owner checked how the guide answers before it went live.

  3. One line, added once
    <script src="https://vocaguide.com/v1/embed.js" defer></script>

    Step 3: One script tag

The guide runs on the website through one script tag.

How it behaves

Rules we learned on a live site.

Running a guide on a real website taught us what makes it welcome. These four rules now come with every guide.

  • Sound only after a tap

Nothing plays until a guest turns sound on.

  • Captions always

Every spoken answer is written too.

  • Text where the microphone is blocked

Links from email or social apps often open in in-app browsers without a microphone. Text works fully there.

  • Microphone on press

The microphone starts only when a guest presses talk, and not before.

Try it yourself

Ask Mila something.

We don't quote visitor numbers or results yet. The best proof today is the guide itself: open zeleniturizem.si and ask Mila a question. Visitors can ask her questions in Slovenian or English.

Questions about the live guide

Which languages does it speak?

Slovenian and English today. Both are live on zeleniturizem.si, by voice and by text. More languages on request.

Will it start talking on its own?

No. The guide makes no sound until a visitor taps to turn sound on, and every spoken answer is also written as captions. The microphone starts only when the visitor chooses to talk.

Does it work on phones and in in-app browsers?

Yes. Links from email, LinkedIn or Facebook often open in an in-app browser where the microphone is blocked. Text works fully there. Visitors who want to talk can do so in a browser that allows the microphone.
